Personal security paging systems

Issue 0

Philips Communication, Security & Imaging (CSI) now offers a range of digital paging solutions including the PS-Micro and the DECT6000. Both systems offer quality reliability with advanced technological backing and are ideal for monitoring personal security and enabling permanent reachability.
The PS-Micro is a dedicated personal security device that can be integrated into any existing or new security system and is an alarm-generating device for the on-site alert of a security risk situation. This one-way personal security paging system is equipped to enable different alarm functions including 'manual' alarm, 'no-move' alarm, 'angle-detection' alarm, 'tear-off' alarm and 'fast-move' alarm. A complete optional location detection system has been added. With this system it is possible not only to know who has given the alarm, but also to determine the location of the individual who requires assistance. The PS-Micro is small and compact with a sturdy and robust design, and is equipped with an internal antenna that decreases its vulnerability to damage.
The DECT6000 allows permanent reachability - either via more traditional paging or telephonic communication. Not dependent on the type of PABX, the DECT 6000 can be linked to any new or existing PABX system, with a single system capable of handling up to 128 Fusion handsets.
The Philips DECT6000 recognises different priority messages and supplies up to 14 different bleep patterns to identify the call - for example an assistance call has a higher priority than a normal call, while an emergency call has higher priority than both.
